NEW DELHI: More than 60% of the eight lakh engineers graduating from technical institutions across the country every year remain unemployed, according to the All India Council for Technical Education.

MUMBAI: IIM Trichy has completed final placements for the 2015-17 PGP (post-graduate programme in management) batch, with the highest domestic CTC of Rs 33 lakh, a 39% increase over last year's highest CTC of Rs 23.81 lakh.

MUMBAI: Economists at the country's largest lender SBI today attributed the sharp dip in unemployment to government efforts at pushing job creation in rural areas through the MGNREGA scheme.
