Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2017

Karnataka High Court has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Court Secretary and Typist. Interested candidates only after fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the official notification can apply online in the prescribed format. The last date for submission of online application is 30 April 2017. Candidates must apply online at the official web portal of Karnataka High Court.

Assistant Court Secretary: 42 posts

Typist: 34 posts


Educational Qualification

Assistant Court Secretary: Candidates must have cleared SSLC exam (Karnataka Secondary Board), senior grade exam or proficiency grade exam in English shorthand, senior grade exam in typewriting in English or Diploma in Commercial practice/ secretarial practice in English. Candidates must have knowledge of computers.


Typist: Candidates must be graduate in Science/ Arts/ Commerce/ Business Management/ Computer Applications with 55% marks in aggregate and must have passed senior grade typewriting exam in English and Kannada with knowledge of operating computers.


Age Limit: 18-35 years


Relaxation norms are available for candidates belonging to reserved categories. Candidates are therefore suggested to go through the official notification properly before applying.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in typing test and viva voce.


Application Fee: Candidates have to deposit application fee of Rs.  250 (Rs. 100 for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Category1/ Physically Handicapped categories).

Last date for payment of fee online: 4 May 2017

Last date for payment of fee through challan: 4 May 2017 (within Bank's working hours)
