Post merger with Housing, Prop Tiger lays off 200 people

NEW DELHI: Online real estate service provider Prop Tiger, just over a month into its merger with Housing.com, has begun to rationalize its workforce, laying off around 200 employees.

The News Crookbacked company has given two months’ salary in advance to those terminated, said a source familiar with the matter.

Cushman and Wakefield to up its India headcount by hiring staff by 2017

Cushman & Wakefield is planning to expand its India headcount by hiring 500 staff by the end of 2017 to focus on project management, leasing and land transactions, said a top executive. The international property consultant currently has 2,800 employees in India, including 200 who joined in the past few months.
